We completed the job in October 2017 and returned in May 2018 to take new photos of the planting that had established. A guide price for a project this size (not including planting or designer fee) would be around £17,000-£20,000inc VAT.
In September 2017 we were contacted by garden designer Ivan Tucker from New Leaf Designs. We were approached to price up a design for a Reigate garden. After meeting with the clients and Ivan and producing a detailed quotation we were chosen as the contractor to construct their new garden.
The garden was originally a plain grassy slope with no interesting features and steep steps that were off centre. The plan was to centralise the steps and make the treads deeper. There were new beds to be cut into the lawn and a winding resin bound path that would go up the centre of the garden and off to one side. Stepping stones would lead to a working area with a shed on a new base and compost area. The planting would add structure to the garden. Lighting was installed throughout the garden to add interest at night as well as be functional when walking to the garage in the late evening.
Are you considering resin bound as a path or drive? As proud approved installers for SureSet we can give you advice about the advantages of resin bound, such as - permeability, the wow factor, lower maintenance and durable.
