A guide price for a project similar to this size would be £50,000 - £60,000+VAT depending on accessories.
Firstly, there were trees to come out, these were not protected and had outgrown the space.
Secondly ivy needed removing from the old wall and the old lawn needed taking up.
Next the levels were sorted out, drainage installed and areas marked out on the ground.
The client was keeping the paving near the house however two new seating areas were being created. One was millboard decking and the other area was porcelain paving.
The first element to mention is the L shaped white rendered raised beds around the seating areas. Next is the large, bespoke timber cube pergolas over top of the decking and paving. The sections were joined together by stepping stones and a millboard deck path.
Other interesting elements around the garden were the block seating benches made from the porcelain, rows of hedging to break up the spaces and pleached trees for privacy. The tree at the back of the garden was sitting quite high so we tiered the area around this and put down bark so that the children could play here.
